The Root River Rollers

Bootcamp no date

Our History: The Root River Rollers came together in October of 2012, when Nukly R. Assault had an idea to bring the fast growing sport of roller derby to Wisconsin’s Racine County area. In determination to make her idea a reality, she recruited some ladies to assist and the hard work has continued to create a league you will want to be a part of! We are currently working on establishing a strong, solid foundation while creating an environment that emphasizes on sisterhood, community and the athleticism in women of all shapes, sizes, abilities, and backgrounds.  If this seems like a place you want to call your roller derby home whether it be as a coach, skater, referee, NSO, volunteer, sponsor or fan, please contact us to find out how you can get involved with the RRR.

Our Mission Statement: The Root River Rollers of Racine, WI are dedicated to promoting the health and strength of women from ALL walks of life through the sport of women’s flat track roller derby. As part of and supporting our community we will always strive to grow and evolve to meet the needs of everyone who wishes to be part of the exciting sport of roller derby whether it be as skater, referee, sponsor, volunteer or fan.
